Chinese Embassy to Donate More 10,000 NK95 Masks

Phnom Penh: The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Cambodia to donate more 10,000 NK95 masks in support to the activities of the Cambodian-Chinese Friendship Youth Volunteer Doctors, in the campaign of the Royal Government of Cambodia to vaccinate more Cambodians against Covid-19 (booster shots) and foreigners in Chroy Changvar district,Phnom Penh.

The Honorary President of the Cambodian Students' Association in China and Chairman of the Cambodian-Chinese Youth Volunteer Doctors Group Oum Vuthy shares that this is the third time that Chinese Ambassador Wang Wentian has facilitated the donation of NK95 high quality mask to support Covid-19 vaccination and humanitarian activities organized by ACSC Student Association.

The Cambodian-Chinese youth volunteer doctors’ group was established on 4 April 2021, with a total of 90 members participated in the campaign to vaccinate people against Covid 19. About 31,000 people were vaccinated for first and second dose in Po Sen Chey, Sen Sok and Chroy Changvar districts. At present, they are vaccinating booster shot for people from aged 18 and vaccinating 5 year-old kids, too in Phnom Penh's Chroy Changvar district.
